Inshore and Offshore Options
Inshore anglers can target speckled trout and redfish around beaches, passes, points, and protected water. Offshore boats can reach rigs, rip lines, and open Gulf water where the target list expands to species such as snapper, amberjack, grouper, tuna, wahoo, tripletail, and more.
Grand Isle can be productive, but it is still Gulf Coast fishing. Wind, storms, tides, and seasonal closures can all affect a trip, so check current marine conditions and regulations before heading out.
