The Pen has been one of our more productive redfish areas over the years. Like much of the South Louisiana marsh, success can come down to water movement, bait, water clarity, and being willing to move when an area is not producing.
Start by checking points, drains, grass lines, and any place where moving water is concentrating bait. Spoons, soft plastics, and live bait can all work depending on the season and conditions.
